Excellent hotel. Good spa, very well converted from the original local court building. Room was well appointed. Bed crisp and comfortable. Didnt eat there so cant comment on food. Staff friendly and professional. Would stay again
The Best Western in Loches is one of the most visually deceptive hotels I’ve stayed in. From the outside, the property has the grandeur and charm of a luxury countryside hotel — almost Four Seasons-like at first glance. Unfortunately, the experience inside was deeply disappointing.
Check-in was chaotic and unprofessional, lacking any sense of welcome or organization. Our room was large, but located above the pool, and the overpowering smell of chlorine drifted constantly into the room.
Cleanliness was the biggest issue. The room was dirty upon arrival, and housekeeping failed to clean it the following day. We had to ask for fresh towels ourselves, while the toilet and bathroom remained visibly unclean.
It’s a shame, because the building itself has real potential and architectural charm. But the interior operation feels neglected and motel-like rather than refined hospitality

Great location and did what it said on the tin. Comfortable but not incredible but wasn’t claiming to be. Breakfast a bit chaotic, great location and fancy building. Need to get a carpet cleaner in the rooms as carpets in rooms a bit dirty and stained.
Stunning, comfy hotel in a perfect city-center spot with free parking, spacious rooms, great beds, and a generous breakfast; warm, attentive staff too. Spa is small/can feel crowded and dinner fell short of my expectations for 4* hotel restaurant (a few service/kitchen hiccups), though the team did try to makeup for it. If I ever pass by Loches again, I'll definitely return 😊

Our arrival was excellent, with a warm welcome and quick, friendly check-in.
We stayed in a loft suite with a mezzanine, which was spacious and well designed. The room was comfortable. The Spa and pool area are small but pleasant but require work, with paint peeling off the ceiling.
Overall, a very pleasant stay in a fantastic location and an excellent base for exploring Loches.
