The new tour of Loches will take you to see the Cité Royale, the lower city and the surrounding towns, such as the villages of Montrésor, listed among the most beautiful villages in France, and Chédigny, the only village in France awarded the Remarkable Garden title.

Anyone who loves bike rides will love the many trails and cycle touring routes in our area. A great opportunity to go biking around the historical sites and through the countryside on signposted trails that are both easy and safe. Green countryside and bucolic unspoiled nature combine to make this a true getaway.
There are 14 signposted circular bike trails that are ideal for getting away from it all and giving you the sensation of freedom! Some trails link to the Loire by bike and the Indre by bike and the Way of Saint James (Camino de Santiago).
The Loire by bike is a well-known route on which to discover the region’s heritage signposted along the way. The route runs along the river, from château to château, including Chambord, Amboise, Chenonceau, taking in the towns and villages of the Loire Valley. It is a great way to step back into history.

We rent out bikes for our cycling friends at the Best Western Premier Hôtel de la Cité Royale in Loches. We also have a bike garage, with a washing machine and a dryer.
